I am not defined by my current day job!
All too often, we feel that we are not living the fullness of our lives because we are not expressing the fullness of our gifts.
Free ~ in-person workshop next week!
Junk Journals + Book Binding Workshop in Columbus, Ohio!
Did you know every single Monday night we host Zoom art meet-ups? Join us any time!
now, about last night …
3 things to chew on, take with you, & activate your creative energy
Collect
Question: Have you ever collected found art materials from the street?
Reflection: Last night, Vanessa shared a tool she uses when collecting bits and scraps of collage materials on the streets or when she’s traveling … a pocket-sized accordion folder!
Action: Go on a collection adventure!
Fed
Question: Is your artist/creative self fed?
Reflection: Last night, Leah Lee mentioned her experience in nurturing and feeding her art … this makes me think about what I do weekly (daily perhaps) that nurtures this part of myself.
Action: Consider coming to “The Lounge” on Monday nights where we open up a Zoom room to slow down, create, and connect.
Learn
Question: Do you get a spark when you learn something new?
Reflection: One of my favorite things about exploring a contemporary art museum is learning about living artists, their processes and studio habits, and being around art that sparks inspiration in my soul. This is exactly why I started the “play & learn” workshop!
Action: If you are craving this spark of learning… check out the new workshop. Free for all paid monthly subscribers or ticketed on a sliding scale.
